2017 Vortex Mini Rok New Zealand Champion
In Invercargill in 2017 Jacob contested his first ever National Sprint Championship having only raced for 3 years and had just moved up to the ultra competitive Mini Rok Class. Jacob proceeded to astound with his performance and won almost every time he hit the track taking home his first New Zealand National title.
2018 Vortex Mini Rok New Zealand Champion
Jacob returned to defend his National title the next year in Rotorua. One of the most spectacular and thrilling finals in karting resulted in victory becoming the first New Zealander to successfully defend the title in this hard fought category.
2018 Vortex Mini Rok South Island Champion
Along with numerous Club Championship titles throughout his two years in the Vortex Mini Rok Class, Jacob also contended and won the South Island Championship at Nelson in 2018. When Jacob turned 13 he moved up to the Junior Rotax and Junior DVS classes.
2019 Rok Cup Bridgestone Trophy Winner
In 2019 Jacob represented New Zealand at the Rok Cup International Final and became the first Kiwi to win the Bridgestone Trophy Final.
2019 FIA Academy New Zealand Representative
In 2019 Jacob was the first ever Kiwi to be chosen to represent his country at the FIA Academy series in Europe against the best drivers of each country in the World. Jacob performed way beyond his experience gaining pole positions and Heat wins. He finished just out of the Top 10 in the Championship.
2020 Rok Cup Junior New Zealand CHampion
in 2020 Jacob became the New Zealand Rok Cup Champion and won his place top again represent New Zealand at the Rok Cup Superfinal in Italy for a record 4th time!
